The Beginner Learn how to use the machine and all the functions of the machine. Learn how to take measurements and read and use patterns. Create a basic pajama project. Sewing machines are provided but recommended to bring your own (better to get familiar with own machine).

Your Instructor Volencia Simpson Your instructor is an accomplished educated seamstress with over 10 years of sewing experience. Volencia Simpson owner of Fiercely Made which has been in business for 3 years making clothes for mainly women and children. Volencia is head seamstress for companies like BabyCrush and Lou Prezi. She started off modeling for DNA, John Casablanca, and Alpha Modeling Group, however, her passion is in sewing. Volencia in her 2nd year as an educator is now passionate about providing a platform for future designers.
